Our Approach.
A performance prop has to survive being carried, spun or thrown, run untethered on battery power, and receive content wirelessly in perfect sync with the rest of the show — all while staying light enough to actually perform with. One recent build paired three bespoke LED rings with 50 one-metre LED batons, all constructed from lightweight aluminium. Every piece is engineered from scratch for the brief: the LED, the power and wireless system, and the physical structure that lets a performer use it safely. Battery life, weight and balance are worked out against how the prop will actually be handled in rehearsal, and wireless sync is tested against the same show control used for the rest of the production.
