Simulator Holodeck

A simulator holodeck asks LED to do a different job to a normal display — the screen has to wrap the operator's field of view convincingly enough that the brain accepts it as the environment, in sync with motion platforms, sound and control inputs rather than as a backdrop. It's a large-format, fully immersive simulator experience suited to military, aviation, gaming or pure entertainment applications, and it's the format behind installations built with Microsoft, McLaren, Xbox Series X and Forza Motorsport 7, and a Mercedes-AMG simulator suite. We treat the enclosure, the LED and the control system as one build, specified together against the specific simulation brief rather than a display added to an existing rig, with content and motion cues synced through the same control system so the visual and physical sensation match frame for frame.
