Elport built a 10-metre curved, seamless LED video wall on a custom floor-to-ceiling mount, giving the Greenwich Peninsula development a striking centrepiece for showcasing its 'city within a city' vision.
Engage Works approached Elport on behalf of their client, the Greenwich Peninsula Project, which is developing the Greenwich Peninsula area into what's been described as a city within a city. A development of that scale and ambition needed a centrepiece display capable of communicating the vision to visitors and stakeholders.
Elport designed and produced a bespoke, smooth-curve LED video wall to meet the brief, moving away from a flat panel in favour of a sweeping, seamless curve that would stand out in the space.
The display measures 10m x 2m and uses 2.9mm pitch LED technology, built as a seamless video wall with no visible joins across its curved surface. To support the scale and shape of the screen, Elport also designed a specially engineered floor-to-ceiling mounting system, allowing the curved wall to be held securely across its full sweeping span.
The result is a state-of-the-art curved LED installation that gives the Greenwich Peninsula development a genuinely distinctive way to present its long-term vision, turning a technical engineering challenge — a 10-metre seamless curve — into the visual highlight of the space.
