Premier League
Across 2014-2016, Elport developed environmental set design concepts for Premier League studio productions, combining LED and LCD video walls with DMX lighting for live football coverage.
Premier League studio coverage runs almost year-round, and the sets behind it need to stay visually fresh across multiple seasons without losing a consistent broadcast identity.
Between 2014 and 2016, Elport worked on environmental set design for Premier League studio productions, producing sketches, renders and technical insight to shape how display and lighting technology would be built into the studio environment. 'Environmental' set design of this kind typically wraps screens and lighting around the presenters and pundits rather than treating them as a single flat backdrop, giving broadcasters more depth and flexibility across different segments and camera angles.
The proposed technology drew on Elport's core capabilities: LED and LCD video wall display technology paired with DMX lighting control, the same combination the company has used across more than two decades of stage, broadcast and events work.
The result was a design approach intended to give Premier League coverage a bold, modern studio environment capable of evolving across match days, seasons and studio formats.
