Elport replaced the eight-screen overview wall at London Underground's Victoria line monitoring centre with a single seamless LED display, giving controllers a clearer, unified view.
As a Preferred Supplier to London Underground (LUL), Elport was asked to solve a practical, high-stakes problem at the Victoria line's monitoring centre: an ageing eight-screen overview wall that needed replacing with something more reliable and easier to read at a glance.
The chosen solution was a Unique Seamless Active Bezel 47-inch LED Display, configured as a single overview wall in place of the previous eight-screen array. By replacing multiple separate monitors with one seamless LED video wall, the control room gained a unified, bezel-minimised field of view instead of a grid of individual screen edges breaking up the picture (assumed operational benefit of consolidating multiple screens into one seamless wall).
For a monitoring centre responsible for keeping track of one of London's busiest Underground lines, a display that presents information clearly and consistently, without visual interruption, is essential to the team's day-to-day work. The project shows Elport's experience delivering large-format seamless LED technology into demanding, always-on operational environments rather than typical retail or events settings.
