SKY

The Isle of Wight Festival is one of the UK's best-known outdoor music events, and SKY's on-site coverage needed production values that could stand up against a major festival atmosphere.

For this project, Elport provided design consultancy for SKY's festival presence, producing sketches, renders and technical insight to plan how LED and LCD video wall displays and DMX-controlled lighting could be used within a temporary, outdoor broadcast environment. Working within a festival setting brings its own demands, from weather and rigging considerations to the need for a set that reads clearly on camera against a busy, energetic backdrop.

The proposed approach applied Elport's core display and lighting technologies to that outdoor context, aiming to give SKY's coverage the same clarity and visual polish audiences expect from a broadcast studio, even in a festival field.
