Selfridges / Loewe
Elport created an interactive LED floor for a Loewe pop-up at Selfridges London, turning every footstep into a responsive, immersive visual moment for shoppers.
For a pop-up collection at Selfridges in London, Loewe wanted an in-store experience that went beyond a conventional display, giving visitors something physical and interactive to engage with as they walked through the space (assumed creative ambition behind the brief). Elport's answer was an interactive LED floor, built to turn footsteps themselves into part of the visual experience.
The floor uses a 3.9mm pixel pitch for sharp, detailed imagery underfoot, combined with pressure-sensitive technology offering limitless touchpoints, so the display can respond wherever a visitor steps. A 0.06-second reaction time keeps that response feeling instant and natural, while 1500 nits of brightness ensures the visuals stay vivid even in a busy, well-lit retail environment. Built to carry up to 2.5 tons per square metre, the floor was engineered to withstand sustained retail footfall without compromising performance.
The result is a seamless, immersive floor display that turned simple movement through the space into an interactive moment, giving Loewe's pop-up a genuinely distinctive, technology-led talking point within Selfridges.
