Take Me Out
Flexible LED strip lighting wraps the Take Me Out studio set, giving the dating game show's stage a bright, colour-shifting backdrop built for a fast-moving TV format.
Take Me Out's studio set needed lighting that could keep pace with a fast-moving, high-energy game show format, cutting between contestants, hosts and big reveal moments in quick succession.
Elport's solution was AV Flex, flexible video LED strip product and control, designed and manufactured by Elport, integrated into the studio set. Being flexible rather than a rigid panel system, the LED strip could be worked into the shapes and structures of the set itself, giving the design team a lighting layer that follows the set's contours rather than sitting on top of it.
With LED control built in, the strip lighting can shift colour and level to match the rhythm of the show, whether that's building tension before a decision or lighting up a big moment for the cameras. It gave the Take Me Out set a distinct visual identity, built around light that moves and changes as quickly as the show itself.
