DJ Fresh

A UK touring show has to work night after night in different venues, with a lighting design flexible enough to match the pace and energy of a live set without needing to be rebuilt from scratch at every stop.

Elport designed and manufactured the lighting system built into DJ Fresh's stage set for the tour: a DMX Flex flexible LED strip installation integrated directly into the set construction. Rather than treating lighting as a fixed backdrop, the fully integrated system gives full flexibility of control over every required production element.

Colour and brightness levels can be adjusted across the whole rig at the touch of a button, letting the lighting design track the shape of the set in real time — building through a track, dropping for a breakdown, or lifting for the moments the crowd is waiting for.

For a touring electronic act, that kind of responsive control matters: it lets the show's visual identity stay consistent across every date on the tour, while still giving each performance room to feel spontaneous and reactive to what's actually happening on stage.
