The Who
Elport provided LED design and consultancy for The Who's 'Quadrophenia' World Tour, helping shape the video wall systems behind one of rock's most iconic touring productions.
When The Who took their 'Quadrophenia' show on a world tour, the production needed an LED video system capable of matching the scale and ambition of one of rock's most enduring live acts, delivered in a way that could travel and be rebuilt reliably at every venue.
Elport was brought in for LED design and consultancy, working alongside the production to plan how LED video walls and stage LED systems would be specified and integrated into the touring show. Rather than supplying a fixed, one-off backdrop, the brief called for a technical approach flexible enough to support a world tour while keeping a consistent visual identity from night to night.
Drawing on its experience with LED video wall systems and stage LED design, Elport advised on the technical approach — from screen configuration through to how the display technology would sit within the wider staging and lighting design — helping translate the creative vision for 'Quadrophenia' into a workable, touring-ready LED solution.
The result was a contribution to a world tour by one of the biggest bands in music history, and a project that reflects Elport's role not just as an LED manufacturer but as a design and technical consultancy trusted by major touring productions.
