Mobile deployments put very different demands on a display than a fixed indoor installation: it has to survive vibration, weather and constant handling, while still being bright and clear enough to read outdoors (assumed operational context for mobile police units). For Lincolnshire Police's mobile truck installations, Elport supplied a robust 5mm LED screen built to handle exactly that environment.
The 5mm pixel pitch was chosen to balance image clarity with the practicalities of a mobile, outdoor-facing display, giving officers a screen that stays legible from a useful viewing distance whether it's deployed at a community event, a public safety campaign, or another outdoor operation. Built for durability rather than delicate indoor use, the screen is designed to keep performing reliably as part of a vehicle that moves regularly between locations.
It's a good example of Elport's outdoor and events LED work: engineering a screen around the real conditions it will face, rather than simply adapting a standard indoor product for outdoor mobile use.
