Yorkshire Wildlife Park bills itself as the UK's number one walk-through wildlife park adventure, and its visitor experience called for a display solution that could work hard in a busy, all-weather outdoor setting while still feeling engaging for families and school groups.

Elport's solution was a 6mm LED video screen built for outdoor use, giving the park a large-format display capable of running an interactive family and educational show as part of its wider visitor offering. Rather than a simple video backdrop, the screen was specified with interactive display technology, allowing the programming to actively involve visitors rather than just play back content in the background.

The 6mm pixel pitch was chosen to keep imagery bright and legible at typical outdoor viewing distances, while the screen's outdoor-rated build was designed to cope with the demands of a high-footfall public attraction exposed to the elements. The result sits alongside the park's animal exhibits as a permanent piece of visitor infrastructure rather than a temporary feature.
